Working Bees

 

Parent Working Bees are part of the cyclical maintenance program for the facilities of St. Joseph’s School.  Working Bees are held when required parents are rostered for one working bee per year.  Working Bees are held on a Sunday from 9.00 to 12.00 p.m. and parents are notified through personal information from the Principal Pauline Fisher.

The jobs to be done vary from term to term but generally include the following:

Painting of outside furniture
Painting of classrooms
Cleaning of roof spouts
Checking and maintenance of playground equipment
Maintenance of gardens
General maintenance and repairs of equipment both internally and externallyPainting of lines on Netball and Basketball courts
